The Client and The Project
First, let me introduce our client, Marretti International. They are headquartered in Italy and sell staircases internationally. It has been a couple of years we have been working together. They usually contact us upon receiving an order to visualize their design on their customer’s house interior. But this time, the intent was different. They want to tag luxury to their name and target a different segment of customers. I loved how they planned it for various reasons. The quality they offer is beyond the standard level. They just needed to show it to the world.
7CGI’s Take
Here, we joined in and provided our product rendering service to Marretti. From the outset, our team at 7CGI Limited worked closely with the client to understand their brand identity, target audience, and aspirations for the project. We planned each phase, ensuring a seamless execution from conception to delivery. The goal was to show off their beautiful staircases in some spaces where the viewers could relate luxury to the images they were viewing.
We figured out that to meet our client’s needs best, we should focus on commercial interiors. This was our initial idea for our contact at Marretti.
The client’s Unique Taste
The client had unique tastes, preferring an interior filled with wood for a cozy, upscale look. We weren’t quite sure which way to go. So, we came up with several options for the client to pick from. Apart from our teamwork at 7CGI, I reached out to my network of 3D artists on LinkedIn for their thoughts.
These are the images that the client wanted to move forward with. So, we worked only around these two images to take them to the next level. Here is the outcome:
The client gave detailed feedback on the interior and their staircase design. They mentioned that the staircase requires a wooden railing to meet state regulations. After addressing the client’s comments, the images now look like this:
Project Completion
The client was happy with the image quality, so we rendered it in higher resolution and sent them the final product. They were thrilled, confirming that we met their high standards. The client marked the project as complete.
A few Months Later
The Marretti International team reached out again. They asked us to add strip lights at the bottom of each stair step in one of the renderings we made for them before. We made revisions and sent them for review. Here are the Renderings:
