What is 3D furniture rendering?
It is the process of building a furniture product as a 3D model and generating photorealistic images or video from it, instead of photographing a physical sample. The output is indistinguishable from studio photography, it can be produced before the product is manufactured, and it can be reused for every future variation. Can I use 3D renders for my Amazon and Shopify listings?
Yes. Rendered imagery is used widely across the furniture category on both platforms. We deliver main images on pure white at zoom ready resolution, plus the gallery, lifestyle, and A+ Content images the listing needs. Marketplace policies require images to accurately represent the actual product, so we model from your real specs and dimensions. Check your category style guide if you sell in a restricted category.
How much do 3D furniture rendering services cost?
From $99 per item for a simple product on a white background, with most work falling between $99 and $499 per item. Price is driven by upholstery and detail complexity, the number of angles, the number of colorways, and whether you need lifestyle scenes or 360 degree views. Catalogs and multi SKU ranges get custom volume pricing.
How long does a furniture rendering project take?
A few days to a couple of weeks, depending on how many pieces there are, how complex they are, and how much customization is involved. Additional colorways and angles from a model we have already built come back much faster. If you have a launch date or a trade show, tell us up front and we will work to it.
Is 3D rendering cheaper than a furniture photoshoot?
Usually on the first SKU, and decisively across a range. A photoshoot means manufacturing and shipping a sample, studio hire, a photographer, a stylist, and a retoucher, repeated every time you add a fabric. A 3D model is built once and re-rendered in any material, from any angle, for years.
Can you render a full catalog or hundreds of SKUs?
Yes. Catalog work is where 3D is strongest. We lock a camera and lighting setup and build a shared material library, so every product after the first few gets faster and cheaper, and the whole range stays visually consistent. Send your SKU list for volume pricing.
Can you match my current product photography?
Yes. Send a few of your photos and we will match the lighting, background, camera height, and shadow treatment so the renders sit alongside them without an obvious seam. This is the usual route for brands adding SKUs to an established catalog.
Do you provide AR models for view in your room features?
Yes. We supply optimized GLB and USDZ files for Shopify AR, marketplace AR viewers, and custom apps, built to true scale and to file size budgets so they load quickly on a phone. There is more detail in our article on augmented reality for furniture.
What file formats and resolutions do you deliver?
JPG and PNG for web, PNG or TIFF with transparency for layout work, 300 DPI and CMYK for print, MP4 for animation, and GLB or USDZ for AR. Tell us the resolutions and aspect ratios you need and they are included in the same price. Re-rendering a crop is not a change order.
How many rounds of revision do I get?
Two to three rounds are included. Most clients approve within the first two, largely because you sign off the gray model before we spend time on materials and lighting.
Do you offer a discount on bulk orders?
Yes. Volume pricing applies to catalogs and multi SKU ranges. Send your list and we will quote it.
Can renders be matched to my brand look?
Yes. Backgrounds, crops, color treatment, shadow style, lifestyle set design, and branding elements are all built to your guidelines. If you have an art director, they can direct us the same way they would direct a photographer.
