3D Rendering for an E-commerce Brand. Project Highlight #1353
An e-commerce curtain collection is explored through color, weave, softness, and light diffusion, using custom interior scenes and fabric shaders developed in 3ds Max and Corona Renderer.
Curtain Fabric Visualization
E-Commerce Textile Visualization: 100+ SKU Variations in Real Environments
High-quality 3D product visualization is a core part of our 3D rendering services. From furniture and décor to textiles and finishes, we create visuals that help products stand out and connect with buyers. This curtain fabric project is a showcase of how detailed, photorealistic renders support product marketing and inspire purchasing decisions.
The goal was to present an extensive collection of curtain fabrics in a way that allows viewers to clearly see how different colors, weaves, and draping behaviors appear in real environments. Our team produced approximately one hundred images, each capturing variations in color, texture, and lighting to give customers an accurate impression of the product.
Contextual Lifestyle Scenes & Waffle Weave Macro Fidelity
By combining accurate 3D modeling with thoughtfully designed interior scenes, the results allow potential buyers to picture the curtains in their own homes and confidently choose a style that fits their space.
To bridge the gap between digital catalog browsing and tactile physical inspection, we paired full-room lifestyle compositions with ultra-high-resolution macro crops. These close-up views highlight the double pinch-pleat headers, thread weight, and fabric structure with unmistakable realism.
Studio Consistency: From Lifestyle Interiors to Pure White Background Packshots
Beyond styled architectural roomsets, modern e-commerce retailers rely on pure white background packshots for Amazon listings, e-commerce storefronts, and printed product sheets.
Our studio maintains calibrated digital lighting rigs that deliver consistent contrast, natural contact shadows, and stable color temperature across diverse product categories—ensuring absolute visual harmony whether presenting soft home textiles or precision consumer hard goods.
Custom Corona Fabric Shaders, Translucency & Color Accuracy
All 3D models, fabric shaders, and environments were created and refined in-house. We worked in 3ds Max with Corona Renderer, using light post-production adjustments to fine-tune tones and ensure color accuracy against physical fabric samples.
Special care was taken with the fabric materials to replicate realistic weave patterns, light diffusion, and surface softness so that the product’s quality was communicated clearly in every image. Corona’s translucency models allowed daylight filtering through the windowpanes to naturally illuminate the textile fibers.
Eliminating Costly Studio Photoshoots for High-SKU Product Lines
Traditional photography for 100+ colorway variations involves complex logistics: transporting bulky fabric rolls, ironing and steaming sets, renting physical locations, and managing uncontrollable natural lighting shifts across multi-day shoots.
3D product rendering eliminates physical constraints entirely. Once the master interior scene and digital drapery models are finalized, new colorways, fabric patterns, and hardware finishes can be generated with absolute lighting consistency at a fraction of traditional studio production costs.
- Rapid SKU Scalability: Render dozens of color and texture variations from a single master 3D asset.
- Zero Physical Waste: Launch pre-orders and marketing campaigns before physical manufacturing begins.
- Perfect Visual Continuity: Maintain uniform camera angles and lighting across multi-channel retail catalogs.
