Bedding Product Rendering for a Premium Pillow Brand
Pillows, sheet sets, a mattress topper, a comforter, and branded packaging, built once in 3D and rendered as catalog shots, close-ups, lifestyle bedrooms, and color variants.
Product visualization
Lifestyle Bedding Renders
Three rooms staged in 3D. Headboards, finishes, and light could all change before the final render.
White Background, Hero, and Detail Renders
One lighting setup across the whole range, so every product and colorway matches on a listing page.
Project Summary
7CGI created photorealistic 3D product renders for a premium pillow and bedding brand. We modeled the full line once, then rendered white background catalog images, hero shots, close-up details, lifestyle bedrooms, and color variations from the same models, replacing product photography across Amazon, eCommerce, and marketing.

About the Client
A pillow and bedding company that sells premium sleep products online and needed images for Amazon and other eCommerce listings. Its range comes in more than one color and finish, so every option has to look like part of the same collection.
The Client’s Goal
Stripe, piping, fitted-sheet elastic, topper quilting.
No samples, studios, or shoot days. See 3D renders vs photography.
White background main images plus lifestyle support.
Each product in every color and material.
The Problem the Visuals Solved
Every new color means a new sample and a new shoot.
Headboard, furniture, color, and light all had to be signed off before final images.
Wrong drape or sheen reads as CGI right away, and this brand sells on comfort.
How We Built the Image Library
Model each product once
One clean 3D model per item, reused for every catalog shot, close-up, and room. Nothing is rebuilt for a new angle or color.
Build fabric that reads as fabric
A woven stripe that catches the light, a soft charcoal sheen, natural drape and wrinkles, loft in the topper, and gathered elastic on the fitted sheet.
Render the catalog on one lighting setup
Same white background and light for every product and colorway, so switching swatches changes only the color.
Render the packaging at eye level
The storage bags became packaging hero shots, seen the way a customer sees them on arrival.
Stage the bedrooms for approval
Headboards, finishes, and light were swapped and reviewed before final renders, with no set building or reshoots.
Final Takeaway
The brand now has one consistent image library. A new color or room style means a material or scene change and a new render, not a new photoshoot.
Images don’t wait for samples or photography.
Every image stays consistent, from catalog shot to lifestyle scene.
Strong visuals shape perceived quality before anyone touches the product.
Questions About This Project
- Can 3D renders replace product photography for bedding?
- Yes. This brand’s catalog, hero, detail, and lifestyle images were all produced as 3D renders instead of photos.
- Are the renders ready for Amazon listings?
- The white background renders were made for marketplace main images and product pages. The lifestyle and detail renders work as supporting images.
- How long did the project take?
- About 198 hours of production time for the models, materials, catalog renders, hero shots, and lifestyle scenes.
- Can new colors be added later?
- Yes. The models, lighting, and rooms are already approved, so a new colorway is a material change and a new render.
- What does bedding product rendering cost?
- Renders at 7CGI start at $150 per image, and variations of an existing render cost less. See our product rendering services for details.
