Every Chain and Caster in View

Manual Pallet Stacker Rendering for Buyers and Investors

A 1000 kg manual stacker modeled in 3ds Max and rendered in V-Ray as white background catalog shots, eye-level hero views, and close-ups of the chain lift, casters, brake, and load rollers.

Project Summary

7CGI modeled a 1000 kg manual pallet stacker in 3ds Max and rendered it in V-Ray as white background catalog images, hero shots, close-ups, and material and color variations. The renders replace product photography and give the product a premium look for buyers and investors.

The brief

The Client’s Goal

The client wanted industrial product renders that could do two jobs:

Replace photography

Catalog-quality images of heavy equipment without a studio shoot.

Attract buyers or investors

A finished, premium look that makes the product credible at first glance.

The problem

The Problem the Visuals Solved

Many variants, no repeat shoots

Each material or color option would otherwise need its own photoshoot.

Premium visuals, controlled budget

One 3D model covers every angle, close-up, and variant.

The approach

How We Built the Renders

  1. Model the stacker in 3ds Max

Mast, fork carriage, chains and sprockets, mesh guard, pump handle, hydraulic cylinder, casters, and load rollers, built as one detailed model.

  2. Set up materials in V-Ray

Painted yellow frame, matte steel forks, polished shafts and sprockets, and dark roller chain, each tuned to read correctly under studio light.

  3. Render the catalog and hero views

White background shots from four angles, including an eye-level hero view, all under one lighting setup.

  4. Render close-ups of the working parts

Capacity plate, chain sprockets, casters, foot brake, and load rollers, so buyers can check the build without seeing the unit in person.

  5. Render variants from the same model

Material and color variations from the approved model, with no new photography.

The result

Final Takeaway

One detailed model delivered a full catalog set, close-ups, and variants in 29 hours of production.

Variants stay consistent

CGI makes it easier to create variants and keep every image consistent.

Quality you can see

Strong product visuals shape perceived quality before a customer ever touches the product.

Questions

Questions About This Project

Can 3D renders replace photography for industrial equipment?

Yes. Every image on this page is a 3D render made in 3ds Max and V-Ray. See how 3D renders compare with product photography.

How long did this project take?

29 hours of production time for the model, materials, catalog views, close-ups, and variants.

Can the stacker be rendered in other colors or materials?

Yes. Material and color variations were part of this project, and new ones can be rendered from the same model.

What software was used?

3ds Max for modeling and V-Ray for materials, lighting, and rendering.
